Applications Development Lead

K-Group is seeking a highly qualified and results-oriented Applications Development Lead to manage, support, and advance our enterprise application ecosystem. Based at our Obour office, this role is critical in aligning our digital applications with key business objectives, particularly within our distribution and FMCG operations.

Database & Design: Demonstrate strong SQL skills and database design knowledge.

Platform Management: Work closely with platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or equivalent systems.

Business Applications: Support and extend core business applications, including ERP, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, or reporting platforms.

Workflow Automation: Implement workflow automation and drive continuous process improvement.

Integrations & APIs: Develop and maintain APIs with a solid understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, and messaging technologies.

Cloud & Hybrid Systems: Manage SaaS and hybrid application environments utilizing cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Source Control: Maintain system code integrity using source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of distribution and FMCG industry processes.

Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
